My pleasure!  I love seeing others discuss the importance of just talking.  Overall communication is absolutely important, but breaking it down into more casual conversations is more "user friendly" and send the message "I care".

And you're right...perhaps instead of stop with all the small talk, I should have advocated for an end to *only* the small talk. You hit it on the head: "small talk can lead to bigger and better conversations." And anything that leads to a more meaningful dialogue is a very good thing. Thanks again.</description>
